Main Street Middletown values the businesses, historic nature, and culture of the downtown business district, and actively practices the Main Street® approach.

We are a dedicated nonprofit organization that promotes and advocates for the historic downtown business district. Main Street Middletown’s ongoing projects, events, and marketing initiatives promote area businesses throughout the year. The town’s tax incentives and historic building revitalization projects enhance your space – and your success.

Here’s why Main Street’s Matter:

Can discount stores and strip malls replace downtown commercial districts? We don’t think so!

Our Main Street boasts beautiful architecture that embodies our history and culture, while adding intricate character to your shop’s ambiance, making it a truly memorable experience for customers.

Our local merchants and restaurateurs deliver a personalized experience to patrons while offering distinctive products that won’t be found just anywhere.

Our Main Street offers our businesses a supportive network that values locally made products, locally owned businesses and local prosperity. We want residents to build a life living and working here, and we want visitors to enjoy time spent in our historical, beautiful valley.

Why get lost in a crowd, when you can have the advantage of a Main Street to call home?

Here is what we are doing to help our businesses:

Main Street Middletown is hosting several FREE business seminars on topics that are key for every business, including marketing, how to grow and retain your customer base, and so much more!  Seminars will be held throughout 2017.

Main Street Middletown has been granted funds from the State of Maryland to start a Facade Improvement Program.  This is an exciting resource that can help offset the costs of building improvements.
